With an aim to build a circular ecosystem at BTR society and enhance efficiency in discarding fabric scraps, we work closely with our production unit to give new life to the scraps. As each garment is made, the pattern cutting process creates a wastage of small pieces of fabric. These are collected and stored rather than thrown away immediately. After almost a tonne of scraps have been gathered, they are collected by a recycling unit that sorts them by colour and type. These then undergo a process that turns them into fresh fibre and eventually, yarn that is used to create a new product, adding to the story of your garment.
